Quartz Crystal, the one that everyone needs to have in thier collection!

It's been a while since I blogged and I really need to fix that bad habit.  But I am here and ready to blog it up for the summer!

So for today, let’s Talk About Quartz Crystals!

Quartz is a crystal that I believe everyone should have in their crystal collection even if they are not  a collector!

 Quartz is the most powerful healing and energy amplifier on the planet because of its unique crystalline form. Quartz can also be found all over the world and is actually not a very hard crystal to acquire.  This crystal absorbs, stores, releases and regulates energy and is excellent for helping with energy transfer.   Quartz take energy and cleanse it almost like a dehumidifier cleanses the air.

On a spiritual level Quartz is said to raise the energy to the highest possible level. Quartz is also said to enhance psychic abilities and attunes you to your spiritual purpose. While on a mental level quartz aids in concentration and unlocks memories.

Quartz comes in many different sizes, shapes, and colors. From blue and gold to Dream, Aura, or Lumarian Quartz. There is a different type of quartz crystal for a variety of needs and uses.  Quartz can also be tumbled or raw. Often raw pieces are pointed and tumbled are rounded or smooth.

Rose quartz is one of the most commonly known quartz. Easily recognized with its light pink color. Rose quartz activates and stimulates the heart chakra and is known for attracting love and purifying energy and relationships.  Rose Quartz is a good emotion cleanser and is useful if placed next to your bed or favorite relaxing space.

I personally enjoy phantom quartz crystals because they often have a very unique structure with another crystal or interesting cracks within the bigger crystal. I enjoy the rainbow effects many of these crystals possess when held in the light just right.

Overall Quartz is a healing stone that is good for intensifying and cleansing emotions, while increasing intuition, creativity, and overall positive energy.

A Look into Kyanite , the no cleanse needed, crystal of many powers.

This weeks crystal of the week is Kyanite. A strong telepathic stone enhancing psychic abilities, that is also great for releasing anxiety. Cherish this stone for it is soft in form but strong in energy. It is not a crystal that needs to be rinsed in water in fact DO NOT let it get wet or soak in water. This crystal needs to stay nice and dry and is one of two major crystals to never need a cleanse of clear. It will also help keep other crystals charged nd positively charged.

This beautiful light blue crystal also radiates an energy of balance , tranquility, and ease of communication or channeling. It has come to us in slight abundance in this era to help with the spiritual awakening. Many healers use it to aide in the strengthening of skills in those that are now suddenly finding themselves in an awakening to their true selves and the star origins. Kyanite is a powerful stone of manifestation toward reaching ones hopes and dreams. It releases a calming effect that helps to quiet the mind and aide in spiritual confusion allowing one to “let go” of what they thought they “knew.”


Kyanite is a stone for everyone. It is commonly known to be blue though is also found in green and even less commonly pink. 

I personally have a few pieces of Kyanite in my personal collection and a couple in my crystal collection for healing and sale. Though Kyanite can be made into a wrap it is warned that if worn in jewelry it is important to take it off in wet weather and keep in a safe dry place or it will fall apart.

A deeper look into Aquamarine

This week's featured Crystal is Aquamarine.  It is also the beautiful light blue birthstone for the month of March. 

 Aquamarine is said to be a stone of courage.  Its calming energies is suppose to reduce stress and quiet the mind, while harmonizing it's surroundings.  Aquamarine also has an affinity with sensitive people.  It can help them grow a tolerance of others and overcomes judgmentalism, giving support to those overwhelmed by responsibility.  

 Aquamarine was carried by sailors for many reasons. One is because it helps to clarify perception, sharpens the intellect and clears confusion.   It is also said to be a talisman against drowning.

Aquamarine is useful for closure on all levels.  Aquamarine promotes self-expression, soothes fears, increases sensitivity, sharpens intuition and opens clairvoyance.  It is a wonderful stone for meditation.  It shields the aura and aligns the chakras.  

It is also highly protective during pregnancy and it helps to guard both mother and baby from harm and assists to prevent miscarriage.  Other healing properties and areas would be for the throat, swollen glands , and thyroid problems. 

It is best if worn or placed on eyes or throat for meditation.

Howlite a good crystal for insomnia and more

Howlite is a interesting stone that can be often found in many colors due to humans often dying it.  Though naturally white it is often found in blue , green , or red to resemble coral. Howlite has many of the same metaphysical properties as turquoise. It is also an excellent piece to keep near by when having problems with insomnia and over active thoughts.




Focusing on a piece of howlite can help with journeying outside of the body as well as gaining insight into your past lives.




It is often a good idea to place a howlite stone in your pocket to help observe unwanted energies. It helps also overcome selfish behavior.




Remember when using crystals it is important to give them an intention so they know how to direct their services. It is also important to cleanse and charge them properly.

Carnelian the orange stone of protection , abundance, fertility and more!

Carnelian, a very beautiful glassy yet translucent crystal that is a variety of orange tones and a mineral of the Quartz family. Carnelian is believed to help so many things. From helping even the shyest become a bold speaker to helping workers and architects construct master buildings. It was even worn by ancient warriors for courage and strength! Carnelian is a stone for many as you can see. It’s also a favorite of little old me!

Carnelian is used for many things  some of the other major uses and purposes are to attract prosperity and resources.  I personally used Carnelian in many of my grids for this purpose. It is also the crystal of ambition, drive and determination all amazing qualities to have. 

Carnelian also helps the voice and singers often wear it to promote confidence for their performances. If you are a singer it is said to be beneficial to wear it as a necklace. ( You can find carnelian necklaces in the Shantastic Shine Shop if you are in need of one asap!)  IT is also the stone that lends the courage needed to help overcome difficulties while defending a specific cause. It offers a sense of community and love.

Orange crystals in particular help with fertility and the sacral chakra as well. Carnelian is full of life force energy and stimulates the metabolism while activating chakras.

Another reason I have chosen to talk about carnelian today is because it helps aide us through the LEO FULL MOON which is coming TOMORROW.  Which means you should also be prepping all your crystals to charge under the moon tomorrow night.

Carnelian is a strong crystal that is also good for helping charge other crystals like citrine or selenite. It has a self charging frequency to it.  When going through my personal Reiki 2 attunement I choose 21 crystals from my Reiki Masters collection. 14 of them were Carnelian while the rest were honey calcite. I proceeded to build a grid (  I actually never counted how many I had just started picking from until after the actual ceremony , then realized I too choose 21 stones just as Usi did while going through his own process)  I still have these crystals and often use them in the center of my alter grids in my home where I am building my own reiki healing center. It helps make the house feel very calm and has indeed help me draw in some abundance.
