A Great Feedback comment from an AWESOME first time customer...

Wanna see the best way to start off a Say something Saturday kinda morning?

I woke up to this awesome message froma first time buyer that I had grown up with in grade school. She moved away in high school after having a few classes together I was sad to see her go. However, I was so glad when she made her first purchase.  I always love sending stuff to friends who have moved away. Here is what she sent me back:

"Omg Shannon I just got the necklace and bracelet and anklet. They're all so great, thank you! The necklace is beautiful and so well made! I've wanted to get something from you for awhile and am glad I did. Quality stuff ;) thanks again!"

Now that made me smile :) So  I had to for sure share it for Share something Saturday!

I also started another painting, this one is an owl. I will for sure share some photos on the Shantastic Spectrum page when it is done.

Was another studio kinda day. Though the weather out was beautiful!

Musical rings, they're pretty neat little things!

 Ah these little rings , may just be one of my New favorite things.

They are so simple but fun to make and wear.One of my favorite customers found one on pinterest so of course I had to look into it.

I tried going to the original website but pinterest didn't have one for it. Just simple the url of the photo.  DARN IT. So I would love to give whomever some original credit if they would like it , but I have no way to.

I have seen a few more floating around today even since I made some but still not original credit or websites just more photo posts. Seems they became popular pretty quickly though.

They were so easy and fun to make I shall be making a bunch in every color.  Since I posted them on the Shantastic Facebook I have already recieved many messages and a few likes for them :)  I can't wait till band season to make them in school colors like Ms. Molly had suggested when she came accross them.

Look out homecoming ;)

My brother would be a drummer.... I'll have to give him some to hand out to some of his little girlfriends at school :P

Tree Branch Necklace.

I made this one for my best friend Kayla and sent it home with her to good ol' Alabama.... Now I can't wait to make more.

Hope she shares it with all her awesome friends down there.
I love how it turned out for a first try.

  It is a rather large piece that lays over the chest.  But it can be arranged a bit to lay how you like.


 It can also be customized with whatever color  "leaves or blossoms" you would like as well.


 I want to make a copper one with brown or fall colored leaves soon. :) I will for sure post some awesome pictures.

 

My aunt said it reminded her of lighting.... Hmmmmm maybe that will be of some use. Sounds like some good inspiration.

Snow Snow Go Away, You don't need to come back some other day...

Don't get me wrong I love me a nice snow day! Especially when it snowed on Christmas Eve just enough to give us a nice white Christmas. But now, it's starting to give me some EXTREME cabin fever!

Being stuck inside all day I worked on a few new pendants for the SHOP. Which needed some much needed new inventory.

I stocked up on some wire the last time I went out to the craft store so I've been practicing a couple of things and got some satisfying new pieces to share. :)

Heady Wraps

A Friend and Fan Aaron aka JesusHimself Model ;)

I fell in the love with the art of Heady wraps at my first festival. They were so intricate and eye catching I couldn't help but want to learn more.

my first "accidental" Heady wrap/ Amulet

I found that they had many stones and that each have different meanings. I have recently ordered a gem set and some books to do more research in hopes to bring more of this to Shantastic soon ;) I have a few friends that are also interested in getting the meanings done.




Little had I knew I had recently created my first one already, It was my friends amulet! ( Aaron aka JesusHimself - Fire twirler) I was so excited and recieved so much great feedback that I wanted to make more! These are a few I have been playing with :D The first mostly white black and silver one is one I made special for my boyfriend <3
