Wow, I just got back from sharing my story a little bit at Frankfort Middle. What an experience. I had never realized how awesome it would feel to have a room full of smiling faces listening with ideas. They all were generally interested and I got to give each of them something to keep.  Although, I made a few to small so I will have to make a few to send back in for those who's might not have fit just right. I wasn't sure how tiny/big their wrists would be. Kids are a bit different than I remember being at that age.
♥ That being said, IT WAS AWESOME! 25ish smiling faces and a room full of questions! They were all so excited a few were late for class. *sorry* What an awesome feeling. To teach little minds hmm.

Thanks Ms.Snoberger for inviting me! Sorry I was a little late. Due to not being able to figure out the door system! haha at least they keep the kiddos safe with all those locked doors!

I would totally do it again :) Maybe next time I will breathe a little bit. I felt like I was trying to tell them so much with so little time. But hey, they really wanted to know! That's what was awesome.


If any of you are reading I hope I taught you a little something ;) If you can make something, AND it makes you happy, do it!

A photo of some of the bracelets I gave to the kiddos. I will be making more for ones that may have been to small. If any parents get on and wonder what they are made of they have a center piece of "hemp" but the outside of the blue and yellow are a nylon base cord, the white one is a cotton cord. I didn't want to use the natural hemp in case someone would get itchy.  If you would like one of your own or custom colored one please feel free to CONTACT ME and I will gladly talk to ya about getting some.

Looking for some insight.... Supplies and new items

Hey there , I'm trying to keep more updated  since I have been getting some awesome new customers and insight via all my different social networks.  I have been working on some fun projects and now am wanting to order some fun new supplies to bring you pretty new things!

Here's my current shopping dilemma  It's one for my "dead heads".

 I am ordering a few of these for the season and need to know who may be interested so I can place the order. The guy I am ordering my glass from is leaving the country after next week so I really need to know asap.

Necklaces would be $25 How ever you would like the hemp/beads/ect . I know I am getting a few at least for a order that has already been placed. However I'm only planning on making one order of these for now.

I can also get dancing bears in a few different colors these come in red green blue and purple I believe...

Please like , comment, or message me so I have an idea. Color choices would be appreciated so I know what's wanted.


NEXT Shopping dilemma.....

I am REALLY wanting to order some awesome MULTI colored Dyed hemp. I have been working with some heady Rasta hemp I scored last season when Manitoba District quit selling their hemp jewelry. Since I've had it i've made quite a few very unique pieces. My all time favorite being this sick "Heady Rasta Lanyard" I made last night... I posted it about halfway through ( I just couldn't wait , and since I was keeping my very excited customer updated I figured I'd go ahead and sneak peak it on the blog HERE)

But here is the finished project that has officially been shipped his way:


 


I can't let anyone have one exactly like this one because I would like to make each one a little different. These beads were meant to be his. I had them in my collection for over five years and I decided that they needed to be used for something like this, and low and behold they were PERFECT match for the items he wanted to hang from the lanyard.

So now I am wondering which color mixtures to purchase for my new projects? What colors do you guys want to see? Insight is awesome.... So please feel free to chat with me.

What are your favorites? I would love to make some awesome new colorful things! I currently have the Rasta and I believe Brown Earth.... and I love them both.

Hello 2013!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

    Lets hope I accomplish more this year than last! Though I shouldn't complain 2012 was an AWESOME year for Shantastic! It was our first full year of getting stuff going. Now to get organized and ready to go!

Time to make a list of goals I would like to accomplish. :)

1. Organize the Facebook with  Good Albums and Updates
2. Create a facebook group for other friends that sell goods so we can expand our circles 
3. Create at least 100 new products 
4. Keep the Shop updated AND the blog!
5. Ship more items to new places
6. Work on my PAINT THE STATES campaign and goals (More info soon!)
7. Organize my craft studio- and keep it NICE!
8. Organize the house - ALL the rooms so it looks like those pinterest dream homes - OR as close as I can :P
9.  Perform 10 live paintings , in at least 3 different locations
10. Help my Grams more , and go on more Grandma Shopping Dates! - There can never be enough!
11. Make at least 12 new friends, one for every month :) , These can be online or around town. I just think it's a good idea to meet new people!
12. Visit my Best friend  in Alabama.
    
    
    I may add more to this list , as the year goes as well but for now that's a pretty good start!

Rainy ...pouring.... and my man was snoring...

When it rains it pours……and man oh man did it pour last week! It rained for hours with lightning that tore up our whole town. My boyfriend played games and went to sleep after all the lightning...didn't bother him much. I listened to the storms and watched the kittens on the porch get nervous. they didn't look to upset though at least they had shelter. :( I felt bad for those without power. I got lucky enough for mine to only flicker for a while. Then eventually went out but it didn't both me much. Although, until it went out I worked away at some new pieces for the shops :). And when I woke up... the power was back and I played nice and let all my friends without power come enjoy my semi cool house( but not really because one little air conditioner does nothing for a two story house with crappy insulation.) I believe everyone was just happy to have t.v. and internet access. However, I didn't mind the company I just kept crafting away. ;)

...Guess who finally got a blogger...

So, I gave in. I  got a little angry with the tumblr interface for many of my posts. I will still be updating everything since I have numerous followers on all different pages :) Just many will be a little duplicated so that no matter what page ya check you get the latest in Shantastic News:)
